Protecting Your Password

Account security is of vital importance. We're happy to provide a list of helpful tips to keep your password secure and strong:

• Create a password that you only use on newTumbl
• Make sure that your password is at least 8 characters in length, although longer is more ideal
• Use words that aren't in the dictionary or popular phrases
• Do not use personal information in your password - avoid birthdays, addresses, and nicknames
• Use a combination of uppercase and lower case letters, symbols, and numbers
• Use a password manager if you want to make it easier to keep track of everything
• Never share your password with anyone
• Change your password every 90 days
• Make sure that you log out of your newTumbl session before you leave if you are in public places such as libraries and cafes
