Email verification is the single most important action you'll want to take after creating your newTumbl account. Verifying your email address allows you to post on newTumbl and receive useful emails. Verifying also ensures that you've set up your account with the correct email address.
To verify your email:
- Right after you create your account, check your inbox for an email from firstname.lastname@example.org
- The subject line will say "Welcome to NewTumbl"
- In the body of the email you'll see "Click here to verify your email address"
- When you click that link, you'll be taken back to newTumbl, and your email will be verified
INVALID TOKEN: If you receive an "invalid token" error message after clicking the verification link, right-click or tap and hold the verification link to "copy link address". In a new browser window / tab, paste the link into the browser address bar and hit "enter / return".
TOKEN EXPIRED: If you receive a "token expired" error message after clicking the verification link. Request a new code by navigating to "user settings" - https://newtumbl.com/settings - and clicking the "resend code" link.
